Within its food packaging division, KUREHA established a holding company in the Netherlands under the name of Kureha Europe B.V. The technology of KUREHA Japan was then transferred to Krehalon Industrie B.V. in the city of Deventer in the Netherlands. This company, founded in 1973, still co-operates closely with KUREHA. The Krehalon range of products consists of high barrier shrink films, bags and casings for various food industries - meat, cheese, fish, poultry etc. - and has markets all over Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Oceania and Middle and South-America. The rest of the world’s markets is served by the Japanese mother company.
